Standards Alignment

The Next Generation Science Teaching Standards, that primarily govern STEM on a national scale, is broken into (3) key categories / competencies.

They are:
  1. Science & Engineering Practices
  2. Discipline Core Ideas
  3. Crosscutting Concepts
The Formula is completely in line with the Next Generation Science Standards. This alignment allows us to use category 1 (Science & Engineering Practices) applying our own scientific / engineering algorithm, to innovate throughout categories 2 (Discipline Core Ideas), as well as category 3 (Crosscutting Concepts). Empowered, our students are free to run wild, innovating without restriction or boundaries, within any field of study they chose. From music to carpentry, to technology to health care, these standards provide a scale-able academically adoptable methodology, supercharged by our algorithm, allowing our students to create innovations of every shape and size imaginable, irrespective of industry, that are truly state-of-the-art!

In the case of a CTE student, who has chosen not to go to college upon graduation, and is primarily concerned with gainful employment, yet caught in a down-turned economic cycle where jobs are scarce in his/her pathway, will as a result of exposure to The Formula, posses the skills to discover and invent a totally new application for their skills, in a thriving industry, securing gainful employment regardless of economic shifts, down-turns and negative cycles.
STUDENT OF TODAY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT RISK IS. THEY LIVE WITH RISK COMFORTABLE MISLEAD BY THE MEDIA INTO THINKING AT RISK BEHAVIOR, IS MODEL BEHAVIOR. THIS MAKES EDUCATING THEM INFINITELY MORE DIFFICULT.
The Formula is aligned to 100% of the entrepreneurial teaching standards as per the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education. These standards include 50% of the financial literacy standards outlined by the National Standards for Financial Literacy.
As a technology driven entrepreneurial curriculum, The Formula goes beyond these standards as it not only teaches students how control and eliminate risk, the arch enemy of all success and entrepreneurship, but to also innovate using logic, valuation, math with modeling and substitution. No other entrepreneurial curriculum combines all these elements to perfect the thought process of innovation so precisely. Bandit Publishing has pioneered this valuation centric  method of teaching the mechanics of engineering design, that goes far beyond any of the design engineering teaching standards, taking its students deep into the heart and soul of classical engineering design methodology.
The Formula provides a methodology, or a systematic approach for innovation, design and sales of any system or product, within any industry or field, The Formula is the only entrepreneurial curriculum on the market today that has:
1. A Logic Based Algorithm For Innovation
2. A Corporate Speedometer
3. A Usable Rubric For Valuation
4. A Visual Business Model Schematic Drawing
Our students come away with a mastery level understanding of product and “model” literacy, allowing them to apply what they learn about innovation to re-imagine new products and their models throughout any and all industries.

Entrepreneurial Teaching Standards

Throughout general education, the consensus is, financial literacy is primarily the balancing of a check book. Although balancing the ledger is critical to the financial health of a person as well as a corporation, The National Standards for Financial Literacy asserts that financial literacy is comprised of (6) categories, intelligible to students ranging from grades 3 to 12. The Formula is aligned to ALL (6) of these critically important financial categorical skill sets.
The standards contain these areas of knowledge and understanding that are fundamental to personal finance:
  1. Earning Income
  2. Buying Goods and Services
  3. Using Credit
  4. Saving
  5. Financial Investing
  6. Protecting and Insuring
Financial Literacy Standards
The Formula is aligned in an interconnected fashion to all above financial literacy skill sets, via its explanation and application of value. Financial investment is the highest form of financial literacy execution in all the world of business and industry. Financial investment is completely dependent upon an understanding of value. Value is the foundation of all sales, marketing, investment and barter. It is the DNA of all human social & financial interaction and, the glue that hold humanity together. It is the most powerful corporate instrument known to all mankind, yet seldom discussed within k12 education. It is the main instrument of any and all successful investors, responsible for turning Warren Buffet into the 2nd richest man on earth,. He is known and worshiped throughout the world as the greatest value investor of all time.
Through our explanation of value, the gateway to the world of finance as well as the heart and soul of all career readiness, we can turn even the elementary school student, into bonafied finance executive, fully equipped and ready to invest in any industry or sector they choose, like a pro.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO INVEST IN VALUE SUCCESSFULLY, OR ADD VALUE TO THE WORLD, IF ONE HAS NO IDEA OF WHAT VALUE ACTUALLY IS..
Sales, the litmus of all corporate success, is simple a conversation about the exchange of value, using money as a simple value measurement exchange tool. Without an understanding of value, there is no financial literacy, no marketing and finance, economics, advertising, no engineering, no stock market and no world economy. It is the foundation of everything involving humanity and its interactions around civilized exchange. Value makes money relevant. The Formula is the ONLY curriculum currently on the market, that uses value as an financial instrument to quantify value within its lessons and discusses value as a foundational social and economic phenomena. Without it, students are not even remotely in the hemisphere of anything slightly resembling 21st Century career readiness. With it, they are prepared for leadership in the 21st Century. Employers think in terms of value. Employees think in terms of money. Value, is the silver career readiness bullet!
